Hey Fancy Pants!
Inspired by all the DIYs putting the Chanel logo on T-shirts, I decided to extend this fanciness to other pieces of clothing. I made this pair of fancy pants for my sister as a Christmas present. Feel free to experiment with different colors of undies and paints. The possibilities are endless!

Giving these as a gift like me? Add a fancy gift tag to match! http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/couture-gift-tags

  • How to make a pair of panties. Chanel Undies - Step 1
    Step 1

Find and acquire a Chanel logo. Google images is a good place to start. Got it? Good! Now you're going to need to adjust the image size to fit your undies. This process involved me holding my undies up to my computer screen, and zooming in and out until I found a size I liked. I then measured the image with a ruler and adjusted it in an image editor. Just fiddle with it till it suits your fancy then print it out. I printed mine on cardstock so it would hold up better.

Cut out your logo. Be careful when cutting out the space in between the Cs.

    Step 3

Lay out you undies. You're going to want to stick something inside to keep your paint from bleeding through to the other side. Luckily I had a small piece of cardboard handy. Take your logo and place it where you want it. I traced the pattern with an ink pen onto my undies first but you can jump straight to the fabric marker if feel confident enough.

Grab your fabric marker! I went ahead and did the outline with my marker but you can skip this step if you want.

Now very carefully color in your logo. You may have to go over it several times depending on how dark you want your logo to be. Let the paint dry and viola! Now go strut your stuff around the house and ignore all the haters who tell you to put pants on. :)
