• 

  Step 1

  You want to make a not so complete square with packing boxes. We got these from work. Use as much duck tape as you need to make sure it does not move whatsoever.

• 

  Step 2

  Do a light coat of white spray paint outside, once dried bring back inside and use a sponge and rustic colored acrylic paint to make the bricks in the pattern of the fireplace.

  Step 3

  We ran out of paint so we used brown for the top and black for the side to do like if its chalk board.

• 

  Step 4

  On a blank cardboard, dethread orange and yellow yarn to make the look for fire and use paper towels rolls as your log.

• 

  Step 5

  Paint with brown acrylic paint and use a sharpie to make swirls and diamond like figures to make your log .

• 

  Step 6

  We used small led light found at the dollar store, they are battery operated. They make the fire pop! Hot glue it all together.

• 

  Step 7

  And if you want you have your naughty or nice list like chalkboard and your done. Enjoy and hang your stockings!
