Now you can look as daper as you please with a cane topper that repersents you.
I'm working on a Tuxedo Mask cosplay and I thought a rose cane topper would be a nice addition to the outfit.

One thing to keep in mind when coming up with you design is that it should fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.
Steps 1-5 are your CAP.
Steps 6- 10 is the building of that actual design.
Steps 11 & 12 are painting and gloss
Steps 13 & 14 are attaching the topper to the cane

While the cap is baking form the base structure shape. (Since I’m making a rose I made a tear drop shape) using a ruler determine the thickness of the Base shape this will help you determine total baking time. (mine needed 45 minutes.)

Once the cap is finished baking carefully place base shape on to the still warm cap and smooth together. Bake again.
(Based off the thickness of my base shape and Baking directions, I baked mine for another 15 minutes.)

Here you will have to judge how many times you want or need to pause and bake again. I did the first three petals and baked again for 5 minutes, then layered on several more petals and baked for another 15 minutes. Then again until the flower itself was finished and baked once again for 15 minutes. Depending on your design, your times will change.

Once the Design is done and cool enough to touch add the final bit of clay that merges the design with the cap, Bake one final time.

If you are making your topper to be a permanent piece simply chose your favorite glue and glue on.

If you are making a removable piece make sure it is a snug fit.

If your topper is too lose take a piece of felt and glue inside the cap.
