Step 1
In a big bowl, mix the Epsom salts with the dried peppermint.

Separate your Epsom salts into two bowls (don't use bowls you plan on eating from in the future or care about tremendously).

Add 8 to 10 drops of food coloring to one bowl of the Epsom salts and use your fingers to work it through.

Step 4
Layer your now two-tone salts in the jar by spooning about an inch of the un-dyed salt into the jar, followed by an inch of red salts. Repeat until you use all of the salt.

Add a pretty tag or bow and give it someone you like/love! Happy Holidays!
