  • How to make a christmas tree. Button Christmas Trees - Step 1
    Step 1

Find 11 green buttons that are graduated in size. The smallest ones will be the top of your tree with large ones at the bottom.

Thread the star bead onto your wire and the one seed bead. Then thread the wire back through the star. The seed bead should stop the wire pulling through.

Thread all the buttons on starting with the smallest and working up in size to the largest.

  • Step 2

At the bottom thread the mini cotton reel on. Pull everything firm.

Thread the wire around the outside of the reel and through the centre a second time to secure it.

Trim the wire to about an inch then slip it up through the buttons so the end is safely hidden,
