    Step 1

Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on box; cool.

Crumble cake into a large bowl. Mix thoroughly with frosting (it may be easier to use fingers to mix together).

Roll mixture into 1" sized balls; cool in fridge for approximately 1 hour.

    Step 2

While cake balls are cooling, cut the edge of a large marshmallow diagonally in the shape of ears.

Sprinkle the pink sugar crystals onto the sticky side of the marshmallow (for best results, press the sticky side of the marshmallow into the sprinkles).

    Step 3

Melt Vanilla CANDIQUIK® according to the directions on the package.

Using a spoon, dip and completely coat a cake ball in the Vanilla CANDIQUIK - let the excess drip off and then slide the cake ball onto the wax lined baking sheet.

  • Step 4

Quickly, before the CANDIQUIK sets, place 2 marshmallow pieces (ears) on top of the cake ball and hold in place until the coating sets. Then stick one heart-shaped sprinkle on the front of the cake ball for the nose.
