  Step 1

  First, tie all the 3 strands of cord in a basic knot. Then start by making a 4 kind loop with the left strand, over the middle one. Loop it round and pull tight, do this again to complete the knot.

  Step 2

  Once you've done that, do the same with the other side keeping the same cord that was in the middle, like a backward 4 knot.

  Hope this is making sense so far.

  Step 3

  Keep repeating the left and right knot steps until you want to add a charm. Thread it through the middle then start to knot again

• 

  Step 4

  Add as many charms as you like making sure the middle cord stays in the middle when you're knotting.

  Step 5

  When you have your desired length you can either just tie it off or put a clasp (lobster clip) on using the same knot.
