Repurposing brassiere wire and adding crochet to make a unique necklace
For this necklace I used a metal wire from a brassiere as the foundation onto which I crocheted some flowers and leaves and made quite a unique necklace.

You Will Need

Step 1Take the wire and crochet single crochets from one end to the other. Stop near the edges and secure by tying.

Step 2Crochet some flat flowers. I made two of each color.

Step 3Sandwich the wire with each flower 'pad' and stitch all around to secure it.

Step 4Or you may crochet some more expressive flowers and stitch them onto the wire.

Step 5Crochet two ties that you are going to attach to the wire as closure of the necklace.

Step 6And that's it!

Yes, the underwire. I take it off immediately after buying a brassiere (doctor's recommendations and also I can't stand the jabbing and probing).
