Easy and cosy blanket out of wipes
This is easy to make and it colors op your room very effectively!
You can also use scarfs in stead of wipes.

Collect some old wipes in warm colors. Put them down on the floor and attach the neighbouring wipes with pins. Sew them together with a sewing machine. I used an old rag of the right shape as a background to sew them on to.

Use an old sleeping bag for the back side of the blanket, to make it thicker and warmer. And there it is!
