@ger: it works wonderfully for bellydancing! a friend of mine made hers with lots of little bells and trinkets and it looks fabulous and makes this cute sound while she dances: perfect!

These are fantastic! My mom and aunts made a BUNCH of them when we went to Mexico about five years ago. They look really awesome with bikinis, or even jeans with a midriff baring top.
