Time:0h15
Nice & Simple
Description

You could make one of these for every room of the house and have ones for remote controls, kitchen utencils and hand towels.

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

Cut a large rectangle of fabric.

  2. 2
    Step 2

Fold over the fabric so that a 5th remains.

  3. 3
    Step 3

Fold up this edge and pin in place.

  4. 4
    Step 4

Lay out your typical bed time items on top so that you can work out how wide to make the pockets and use pins to mark where to sew.

  5. 5
    Step 5

Pop your items inside the pockets before sewing to make sure they all fit.

  6. 6
    Step 6

Sew each of the pockets in place.

  7. 7
    Step 7

    Fold ribbons in to hoops.

  8. 8
    Step 8

Sew the ribbon hoops on to the back of the hanger.

  9. 9
    Step 9

Hang on the wall and fill with all those useful things - diary, good novel, pens, tissues, magazine, favorite teddy, torch for reading under the duvet, bedtime snack.

That's such a great idea! And very cute too-- I just wish I could find some decent fabrics for projects like this. Do you have any links for something like that (other than reprodepot)? I live in the American southeast which is a bit of a cute-ness wasteland as far as fabric prints are concerned...

The ragdoll is a doll of Annabelle from the comic Nightmares and Fairytales. Look it up.
