    fold a piece of fabric in half horizontally

    the folded edge should span from one of your elbows to the next, and should be as long as down to your hips

    now fold in half yet again (now its quarters) and trace the outline of your tunic. the armhole should be from your shoulder to your waist, and the neckline should be half of the measurement from one of your shoulders to the next.

    cut on the dotted line and u end up with this shape. hem the neckline, the bottom and sew up the sides. i wrote "do not hem sleeves" but what i meant to say was HEM the sleeves but do not close the opening

    lastly, do about twenty lines of shirring at the bottom of your tunic. this will give it the fitted bottom

    now youre done! please excuse my crinkly fabric...i'll iron it eventually :)
