on your computer resize the image in a flag to 1 inch x 2 inches, be sure to leave a half inch margin on the left end of the flag.

Print out on paper, for added support you could use card stock.

Carefully cut out your flags leaving half inch margin on the left hand side.

tear off a piece of double stick tape about an inch long.

Turn flag over and place piece of tape on the back of the flag closest to the margin. Its doesn't have to be terribly precise, it wont hurt if you get tape on the margin part.

place toothpick on the back of the flag, right on the edge of the double stick tape.

fold margin over the back of the flag, over the toothpick

press the margin against the back of the flag to adhere to the tape.

flag is done! Yay! If you would like to make a double sided flag, just reverse the image of the flag and delete the margin, when you cut it out you will cut out the two mirror image flags as one piece, apply the double stick tape, add the toothpick and fold the flag back.
