Materials used for this project:
- Poppy Red and Blue Jay Soft Fabric Paint
- $5 (on sale) tank top
- Chip board for in between tank top layers
- Adhesive foam stars
Place cardboard in between layers of tank to keep from bleeding onto back side. Stick adhesive foam stars on top part of tank, including the straps. Cover bottom part of tank with chip board to keep protected when spraying.
Keep bottom portion of tank covered with cardboard and spray top part with Blue Jay soft fabric paint until completely covered.
Remove cardboard from bottom of tank and fold bottom portion of tank like an accordion.
Cover top part (blue area) of tank with cardboard to keep protected and then spray bottom portion of the tank with Poppy Red until covered.
Unfold shirt, remove adhesive foam stars and lay flat to dry for about 1 hour.
When shirt is dry, turn over and repeat steps on back. Please note, we did not use the adhesive stars on back.
