Start by using a little nail polish remover on each of your nails, even if you don't have any left over nail polish on them because it gets some of the oils off your nails and makes your polish less likely to chip.

Next get your red nail polish and polish the bottom half of every other nail and the top half on the other ones

Now use your blue polish on all the blank spots... the exact opposite of the red.

Now this is the slighty (but not too) tricky part.

Take your silver polish and toothpick. Dip the toothpick into the silver and carefully paint a line where the red and blue polish meet.

Now you can either wipe off your toothpick, use the other end, or find another toothpick.

Dip your toothpick into your white nail polish and use it make stripes up and down on the red nail polish, and dots on the blue.

Wait for all the polish to dry and cover it with a clear top coat, and you're all ready for the fireworks1
