Prom dress?!?

Hey there! I have about 6 months till junior high-prom, and I'm already looking for a perfect dress! I was going for DIY, since I don't want to risk wearing same dress like someone else! But the problem is, I have no idea hot to make it! Maybe I should cover myself with duct tape, or newspapers... Please, suggest me something! I want it to be kinda Alexander McQueen (r.i.p) or Lady Gaga(I don't like her. Just the way her dresses are shaped!) inspired? xoxo

the best thing to do for something like this is to get a pattern, and alter it to your liking(: that's what i'm doing for mine.

These are really awesome and you could dress them up by using silk and or dressier shirts adding a tutu underneath would add a punk look you could trim it and add jewels and pearls and some long fancy gloves or fingerless gloves would be an awesome touch with a mini top hot or Facinator...hope this helps
