Kathy Henry set up The Blankets for Funsani project when she visited an orphanage in Zambia. There are over 100 children at the Funsani Hospice/Orphanage in Kitwe and only nine women to look after them.

Kathy taught these wonderful women to knit after she noticed the lack of bedding and blankets that the children had. Kathy is an amazing woman too and we, at Snippets as well as Kathy, would like to ask you to knit patches for the blankets or donate wool to the cause.
