Slave Leia

Not sure if you'll even see this, but I was wondering: around how much money do you think you spent on this costume overall? I'm thinking about dressing up as slave Leia for Halloween, but I'm apprehensive to spend a bunch of money when I'm not sure it will even turn out well. Yours looks awesome, of course, but I'd be doing a modified version of this (going to Disneyland, so I'd want to be a little more covered up haha) and I also haven't done anything like this before so it probably wouldn't turn out near as good as yours. Any insights, tips, etc. would be appreciated XP

You made it to perfection! When you are a grandmother, of young impresionable children you can pull out this picture and say "once upon a time i was a great queen of a far away land... my kids would sure eat that up! lol. magnificent work on the tutorial too, hopefully i'll get ambisious enough and give it a try. Really though keep some pictures so you can tell fabulous stories to the younger generations, hell I'm 26 and the first time I saw that paticular costume was on Friends...lol..

Personally I think your costume design and tayloring skills ROCK! Design is your ticket. You also Rock the costume, fit the character and I'll bet it is a hit at (any- LOL)Convention. And IMHO (in my humble opion) the costume looks great on you and it is TOTAL decect- I see gils wear less in the summer in the grocery store. Nude shorts were great idea.

Slave Leias are always welcomed at cons. There is even a party for them at Dragoncon. Good job, and tell your boyfriend

comic con is full of star wars stuff, any one who has every gone should know that. and it is a event that welcomes nerds of all kinds.

Turned out awesome, but honestly I don't get where Leia fits into a comic-con...
Still, now you already have your Halloween costume
