Buttons

Does anybody have any ideas of how I can make a necklace out of buttons?
Using these types of buttons

Those are cute. You could make a choker style necklace similar to how you'd make a button bracelet.

You can brighten up a purse or bag.
I'll post them as a project you can see.
I did this last winter with leftovers as a 'what to do with this little left over bits'.
It was after the winter and I vowed to make something out of used and worn out items.
I cut the buttons off of old shirts all the time and save them. I had a yarn scrap from a project and jeans that I salvaged using one of the legs only for one bag and the seat part for another bag and divided the other leg of the jeans for the straps. Two bags from one pair of jeans.

What you could do is get a leather strap/ velvet or satin ribbon and sew the buttons on in contrasting thread and then tie tie it on in a bow.
