Ways to recycle - wine corks?

I've been collecting these for ages, so I need some clever ideas for crafting with them. I'm going to make a cork man, so that's one idea.

WINE CORK XMAS TREE!

make a sort of tree like base think kebab stick thing, paint the corks all nice and xmassy stick em on to the base. For xmases to come though.

How about a pin cushion? You could glue them onto some thick card stock in a funky shape and use them to hold your pins

Or a funky notice board? Again glue them onto something, card stock or some wood you have lying around lol Hang it on your wall and there you have a cool way to stick you pics and notes
They are paintable right? You could paint them to make them look better too then?

I wish I had saved some Happy We always get the wine in box lol

How about making trivets? I have a ton of them too! I've seen great hot plate trivets made from corks.

That trivet idea is great! I have a bunch of those in my house and they are really the best trivets I've ever had.

A friend of mine turns them into a cork bulletin board like what was mentioned above. Looks great in her kitchen!
