Pom Poms Crafts?

Any body have some cute crafts using pom poms? i got a huge box full from my boyfriends grandmother who had a stroke and can't craft any more (i pity the poor woman greatly) but i have no idea what to do with them all, and everything i find reminds me to much of girl guides (oh the hated memories)

I want to do something with them that doesn't look like it's from the 50's and even my anti-craft friends will like, and not tell me i'm over domestic (i am over domestic, but it's annoying to hear it from them.) Any ideas?

you could make lots of finger puppets with cute afros?

Roma, i have all different sizes. Some tiny ones about the size of baby peas (theses are mostly pink, but i have some black ones) and than all the way up two 3 inch ones in many colors.... i made a little skiing rabbit for my boyfriend's niece for Christmas, but i still have sooo many.... (im talking like a banana crate full of pom poms)

I saw a cool scarf made out of pompoms! It looked like they strung the poms together and across and that was a cool scarf! The poms were different colors.

Make sure you take some pics of it when you're finished and post them here! I want to see it!! I know the one I saw was so pretty! A rainbow of colors! I guess the design is up to you, how wide and how long!

you could also take a grapevine wreath one of the smaller sizes and hot glue to white med size pom poms on the bottom one for a head and the othe for a body, on felt hands and feet....give it a face and you have a bunny hanging from a wreath...there is pattern on line for that one...let me see if I can find it agian: try these: http://www.makingfriends.com/pompom.htm this one is the bunny: http://www.allfreecrafts.com/easter/hang-in-there-bunny.shtml
