Keeping DIY DIY

I'm getting really sick of all the corporate craft sites that have been cropping up all over the place, it's not exactly DIY.

It's not grassroots DIY. It's 10 ladies they hired to come up with stuff in a test kitchen.
The rest of us figure it out ourselves, which is more fun anyways.


On the bright side maybe it will help our consumerist culture learn that not everything needs to be bought and give them the empowerment to be brave enough to modify what you already have into something totally new.

yeah, i kinda hate sublime stitching for that. Like I think the designs are really cool and I love the whole trying to put a new spin on embroidery, but i really think people should be coming up with designs themselves.

I've realised that i hate how craft stuff is really expensive!
