unwanted facial hair

I has it and I hate it. I have a mustasch peeps! and a lil bit of a gotee. gggggrrrrr, its a mix of my meds and genetics. sigh. and I just had to get it waxed. It wasn't as painful as I though it would be, but my skin didn't like it at all

nair makes me break out, in a really painful rash.

Try sugar waxing, heres a guide - http://www.howtosugarwax.com/
Although I would recommend going to a pro salon if you haven't done it before, its all natural ingredients and I use it on my legs because my skin gets reaaally red when I use Nair or any chemical based hair removers.
Also there was this one girl at my college who had a simmilar hair problem and it turned out to be Polycystic ovary syndrome that caused all the hair and also acne and depression.

Its always a good idea to check with a doctor in case it may be something like that x

i was about to suggest Nair, cuz thats what I use and it doesnt irritate my skin....but i guess if it irritates ur skin then you shouldnt use it.

Argh, that sucks honey, especially with the sensitive skin, I'm like that with Veet products on my legs, but it's only a lil redness.
Is there nothing alternative you can use? No home made recipies? Have you ever tried that stringing thing they do... I think it's a Chinese thing, they do it for eyebrow shaping, they use some kind of string to remove hair... can't remember what it's called. Would that be a better way to remove the unwanted facial hair?

Threading! It can be painful but if you get someone who knows what they're doing its fine and I've had it on my eyebrows. I had the offer of doing my moustache but said no as its minuscule. I do have a bit of a goatee thing going on sometimes tho but I keep that in check with tweezers or trimming it really short with scissors. I have even tried shaving it off which was very effective but risky as I had no idea what I was doing. I think it was a sudden rush of blood to the head while shaving my legs. Occasionally tho I forget to check it and it catches me out. That can be a real pain, especially if I spot it in a mirror just before a meeting or something! Thats a nightmare as I know you can't really see it till you get close and most people couldn't care less but it makes me really self conscious tho. I think I've inherited the goatee from my mum but she's had electrolysis on hers when it became a problem for her. She said it was uncomfortable but bareable and she needed a few sessions but once its gone I think thats it.

I heard of threading, but there is no one here to do it..

but yeah, I inherited it too, I think I will stick to waxing

Never mind. I don't know how you can wax though, I tried waxing my legs and won't be doing it again. I've always wanted to try electrolysis, does it permanently get rid of hairs then?

I think it does in steps...I don't know...I do know its expensive
