It has to be favorited a lot all at once or have a lot of versiona made of it. Not all popular projects are featured.

Yup dito to what Monica said. But here are some helpful tips to get a better chance at getting featured- Take good pictures of each of the steps,
do something original or something that hasn't had a tutorial done for it,
make the instructions easy to understand,
use materials that everyone can get at a normal craft shop,
Hopefully that helps, and good luck Happy

I've been on the site for years and lots of my projects have a lot of favourites but none have ever been featured so I guess that Crafterella has to like it too

I think it's not just a matter of how popular it is, I think Cat has to notice it and like it as well. My one featured project (although I think I now have 2) didn't have a whole lot of likes when Cat featured it, I think she just really liked it.

I agree with what your all saying. I resently saw i have 3 features (didnt know bout 1 of them! lol), & i think it has to be liked by the site owners &/or members.
It doesnt have to be anything spectacular either. It can be simple. All the ones i have featured are probably some my easiest projects ive done. :/

I think that featured projects are usually just really great techniques - things that others can incorporate into their own projects, or that nobody else has really done before. The key is to be innovative and creative (though I know we always are Tongue) and to think up new concepts that haven't been tried before. Happy
