For Christmas I got:

1) a buttload of Christmas cards
2) $161 from 11 members of the DET forums that participated in my Secret Santa program again this year
3) My very first Victoria's Secret bra, from another friend on the DET forums... it's freaking GORGEOUS too!
4) $20 WalMart gift card from my dad
5) $50 WalMart gift card from my best friend's mom (she might as well be MY mom)
6) A small travel suitcase from a the website I review for

It's a small haul, but it's not about the presents! ^_^

What are DET forums?

I also got:

A birdcage (just for decoration)
A Nintendo DS Lite (Well, an IOU note for one..)
Subversive Seamster
Two pairs of not so fantastic patterned tights.
The Colour Purple by Alice Walker
A whole bunch of crochet hooks
More levels for my sewing kit
Some old display curtains (LOVE curtain fabric.)
A pair of burlesque style ruffle knickers, all the way from San Francisco from my sister (of all people!)
John Lewis vouchers so I can buy some fit wool
Sweets!
Really freaking hot legwarmers from Topshop. They're made of cottony wool and they've got cable stitches and things
A nice Cardigan
an £100 cheque from my father (I still can't figure out why)

My god I'm so spoilt.

The DET forums are the forums for Digital Entertainment: www.digitalet.net

It's a cool site, a friend of mine runs it. It's all about movies, music, video games, sports, anything entertainment involved, basically.

I really wish I would have gotten some crochet hooks! I tried getting some at WalMart with my gift card but their selection is absolutely AWFUL.

I don't understand these dock things for ipods, surely the idea of an ipod is to listen to music on the go, at home you can just use cds!

My iPhone has speakers in it, so it doesn't really need a dock. I don't have any CDs anymore, it's all in my iTunes - I still collect records though!

I have Floral by Paul Smith too but my absolute favourite perfume ever is Lolita Lempika, it comes in an apple shaped bottle and smells gorgeous - yum, yum, yum!

Oh I almost bought that purely for the name! I preferred the smell of Sexy 212 but I hated the name. Eventually I realised I should stop being shallow =P

I really want Insolence by Guerlain. It smells of Parma Violets, and I would LOVE for people to walk past me and go "my god, she smelt of parma violets."

theres a lot of these appley ones about now!

What I refuse to buy perfume wise is anything 'made by' a celebrity, it really annoys me!

Mmmm, I love the smell of parma violets too.

Yeah, celebrity perfumes annoy me too, like who'd want to smell like Channel from Big Brother anyway? I was utterly disappointed by the smell of Kate Moss' perfume, it was like a watered down Chanel No. 5.

I have bought one celebrity perfume, but I respect her, so I don't consider her a celebrity as such, I got Isabella Rosellini's perfume called Manifesto and it is my fave perfume ever! So fresh and springlike, I am on my last dregs of a bottle and I haven't found it ever, found some online though so I hope to get some for my bday.
