Dreams!

I want you to tell me all your dreams. Scary or funny or just plain weird, tell them here.

I'll start with my one from last night. I was on this reality TV show where they put a ton of women who had never dated before in a huge house with loads of men who'd dated lots but were really bad at it. Our first task was to stand at this big panel in mixed gender groups and press little buttons to change lights in order to stop a bomb going off, and my group failed cause we didn't know how to do it. Then we sat down in rows of chairs, hundreds of us, and the leader guy was really happy and chipper all the time, and told us to put our hands up except he called our hands cupcakes, so he'd go "Raise your cupcakes up!" and we'd just have to put our hands in the air.
That's all I remember =P

one of my favourite dreams ever involved me being transported to Reading Festival just by looking at an unrelated picture (this was a nightmare. I am not a Reading person.) and then my best friend was there (who has been to Reading and has enjoyed it) and either she or I, I forget, decided to dye our hair purple. Now, having never been to Reading festival I don't know how accurate to real life this next bit will be, but it is rather like Glastonbury so let's imagine that instead... So we were walking to find a place to dye our hair, and we went down a lot of lanes with big corrugated iron fences on either side of them, and then at the bottom of a dead end alley, we found a shower so we decided this would be a good place to dye our hair. We were doing it, and I remember my t-shirt being wet, when one of the iron boards falls down, and here's where it gets exciting-

A bull started chasing us!
We ran really fast away from it, and we ended up in a cow making factory. There were loads of cows on conveyer belts and things. The bull was still chasing us and then we found like a metal chute, sort of like a water slide to climb up so we were going up that but the bull was amazing and managed to sort of jump up after us while we were up this thing. And THEN that dream thing happened where something that looks nothing like what you think it is appears. So this Bull started to become Mark E Smith. Seriously. It didn't have his face or anything, but it WAS Mark E Smith. And then he started talking to us, telling us he just wanted to be an adult. Why couldn't he be an adult? Sad

And then as he was about to eat us I woke up being all "oh my god!"

That's really horrible.

I had this dream where I was watching TV and it was one of those jokey news reports where the presenters aren't taking it seriously, and they were like "A WITCH has been found in *insert place here*. Let's go to Kate with the story!" and there's this woman interviewing another woman, but all you can see is her face and she's telling the camera that she was going into the pub when an old woman stopped her and asked for directions. The woman is really tearful and says that she ignored the old woman. Then there was this funny flashback thing and you see this old woman, - and no kidding, this was in my dream - and she says
"Listen to me and hear my charms
And I shall give you donkey's arms!"
And the camera pans out and the woman who's been talking HAS DONKEY'S ARMS! And it's like the scariest thing ever because they're all clay-mation looking and she can't move them all that well, and she wants to pick up her beer and she can't!

I know it's funny and in the morning I laughed but at the time, it was the most horrible thing I had ever experienced and I didn't sleep all night!

one of my freakiest dreams ever was this, I just appeared in this place and there was a stream of blood and carcasses of horses that were split in half and the open end had teeth in it and it was trying to get me Happy

I constantly have dreams that my cat(who is a house cat) has escaped somehow and I am searching for her wandering around bawling my eyes out Happy

That first dream is...I don't even have a word to describe how horrified I am by that thought.

Yup it was pretty horrible, it kept replaying in my mind like a video for weeks after. It was kind of like something from the film The Cell with J Lo, with the horse that gets split into lots of pieces with the glass and you can see all his organs, or like Damien Hirsts piece Mother and Child Divided where he cut the cow and calf in two

Hirst's stuff really freaks me out, and yet fascinates me. But the animals cut in half make me feel physically sick.

I constantly have dreams where I'm being chased, except they're not necessarily just running. There's this one which is like Halloween 4 (I think), where I'm going round this house trying to hide from someone and I keep seeing them. And one of my earliest dreams I remember is being chased down the stairs by a werewolf, and I'm flying but I can't go fast enough and the door's locked so I can't get away

Eep some of those dreams sound horrible, especially the horse one. I get weird news report dreams too Kitten, but I end up being put at the scene and seeing something horrific, like someone falling from a Ferris wheel or something.

I went through a period of screaming (like really loud proper screams) in the night and then someone would come and ask if I was okay and I'd just be like 'what? why?' - that was a bit creepy.

That is weird.

I know I grind my teeth in my sleep if I'm really upset. I watched Trainspotting the other night and the bit with the dead baby really upset me (not even the worse bit, I turned it off before it starts crawling on the ceiling). Just the sight of this rotting dead baby in a cot upset me so much I was grinding my teeth all night. I also cry in my sleep sometimes, which is a bit weird. I used to date this guy from Liverpool, and he was gonna come visit me for a week and the night before I had this nightmare that the train crashed and I never got to see him again and it was my fault that he died. I woke up crying and had to smother a scream, it was not so nice
