You can make reductive stamps!

Like the rubber ones on the site or last year I made one out of a block of Mdf...

Oooh! Ive only just discovered this site and I think its fabulous!! I cant say theres particularly any craft I *hate* or dislike, but theres a few that I dont personally do.

I*love* scrapbooking (as opposed to the tons of ppl here who dont!! lol!) and I really think it incorporates many types of craft! But at the same time Im not so into the pre-packaged, commercial scrapbooking stuff...

There maybe a kind of challenge in using something pre-made and changing it somehow.

Knitting and embroidery, I just can't do them and find they require too much patience.

It's applique for me! I can quilt and do complicated patchwork, but can I get nice, flat applique? Can I heck-as-like! If anyone has any tips.... :$

I Agree with Alex S. Embroidery and stuff like knitting. I have total respect for those who can do it, but the fact that I CAN'T makes me angry!

but I DO LOVE scrapbooking... but not like... conventional. I like scrapbooking because all the crap in the aisles to do scrapbooking, I use it for art, and all my school projects and stuff like that. Also, the perspective of a scrapbooker as opposed to a pop-artist or a sculptor adds a whole new dynamic to the art that I do, and it makes things so differnt and fun.

I.E. For a psychology project I was doing, I turned my poster into a giant pop-up book with spiny wheels and pull out things, and a bunch of stuff like that, that I only thought of because of what my friends mother was doing with her scrapbooks

I got an A Happy

Flat applique is most easily accomplished with thick fabric. The thicker the fabric the easier the applique! Otherwise, get that bondaweb stuff to bond it before sewing!

I'm not a big fan of crochet. I see all these people make really nice things, then I try to make a single chain and fail. I get jealeous XD
Also, any of those "camp" crafts, as mentioned. The end product by the teacher always looked so nice, but no one's ever turned out that nice.

For me, it's not so much a type of craft. What I really hate is a style of crafts. I think of it as cutesy, country style crafts.

It goes back to a God awful sweatshirt my aunt sent me when I was a teenager. It was corn flower blue with iron on thingies. They were *shudder* two little lambs and a bunny dressed as a Shepard.

What I love is edgy, funky and kitch. I love kitch the most.

I can't get into counted cross-stitching for the life of me. It just bores me to tears. I am not crazy about scrapbooking either. It feels like work.
