Urgent/Dipping cookies in marshmellows?

So I have the supplies for cookies, and like a one lb. bag of marshmellows, basicially, im wondering if you 'cook' the marshmellos (microwave, Water, butter) and mix it a lot, (maybe not all the marshmellows) cook the cookies, let them cool/freeze, and while the marshmelow goop is hot/warm, dip the cookies in and place it on foil or parchment paper.

Am i going crazy with my idea?
please say soon, i really crave cookies

Ive tried meling them in microwaves but you have to be super careful you dont burn the sugar in the marshmallows which is very easy in anything with high sugar content like marshmallows and chocolate.

personally I think it works better on the stove and takes the same amount of time x

another good idea might be to break up the cookies then set them in the marshmallow mix like a rice crispy treat, it'd be an awesome rocky road style cookie mix
