Just responding to your comment on the tea cup/saucer headband. I bought my set (I actually bought two in case the one I made didn't work as I planned) on etsy. I searched in the vintage section with a lot of different key words and can't recall which one ended up being correct for this item. I have also seen these in thrift stores pretty frequently.
