How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I think it was around five years ago when I was browsing for tutorials. While I love to find tutorials, I also would love to write one. The problem is that I'm not sure which way and such, plus I'm not good with photoshop. I think Co+K provides us both easy access to tutorials and also easy way to create one.

What projects are you currently working on?

I just finished a vintage style teddy and wanting to make more! I think its getting me addicted... :D Also next in line is a small panoramic sculpture, a tiny fairy house and an alpaca pillow :) I'm currently also working on designing plush toys for a children's book character.

What does your craft space look like?

I currently live in a student apartment so I don't have much space, but I love my little room. I always keep a lot of plushies around. There are other artist's plushies here as well, and I love them all equally. These plushies always comforts me and inspire me to create something new.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

definitely needles, thread and my huge black fabric scissors. Most used supplies are polyester-based fabrics like minky and silk embroidery thread. I loooove these types of fabric cause they're so soft and snuggly you just want to fell asleep with it. Craft supplies are hard to get where I live right now, so from time to time I use alternative supplies like baby blankets and fluffy socks.

What do you craft along to?

My all time favorite is Jacksons 5! But right now I'm loving Charli xcx's boom clap and Meghan Trainor- all about that bass

Favorite Craft

I do a lot of types of craft, but most of them involves sewing. I love it the most when I'm making fluffy plushies! I also love making clay miniatures, which sometimes is also to complement the plushies. For instance, my last project was an artist style teddy bear, and I made a headpiece for it with wood fibers and daffodils that I make myself from polymer clay. My current favorite is making art dolls and artist dolls. Combining sculpting and sewing is just thrilling and I really have to go all out :)

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I'd love to learn how to crochet. I can only make simple flowers so far. *blushes

Who are your crafting heroes?

def my grandma! Man, she can hand-embroider a huge detailed dragon when she's 17. Could never catch up to that :) But of course my good friends Suzanne (a.k.a kiddo) and Vivi are my huge craft fighters at the moment :) So if you love crafting, in any tiniest way please support handmade stuffs and the artists as well.
