First, I would like to say that I love this site. There are some wonderful ideas here! Thank you all for sharing them and for the inspiration that you give :)
A few things about me:
I´m 22.
I'm from a greek island but I'm currently living in Spain.
I would like to study Biology, but I'm into a degree of some type of engineer instead (because I 'm strongly against dissection, for example). Well, this is not so important. I believe more in self-education anyway.
I'm vegetarian.
I never had the patience to finish a knitting project.
And about my sewing skills - what can I say? The only thing that I can do is to sew a button.
..but I would love to make my clothes from scratch.
Anyway, I'm in general into many things involving creating things since I was a child.
[I would like to learn to make EVERYTHING!!!]
My new mania is altering and recycling clothes (my bf think that I have a Diogenes syndrome, because I collect what the other people throw hehe :)
I just hope that I would have more time in the future to learn new techniques and to experiment with any type of arts & crafts.
...and of course that I will stop the bad habit of don't finish what I start :P

I know what your talking about,my husband dont let me fix his dreads so he has a bunch of those double ended dreads.
I made his and mine too.But mine needed one month to finish,I have too much hair and it was short so i made some from false hair and attach it to my dreads.But I think it was worth the trouble,I have them for a year now and just love them!
I had a few in the back of my hair done before too. :)
