  • Step 1

first, make your bread mixture. you might have your own recipe or there is plenty on this website.i just used the recipe on the back of the yeast packet.

  • Step 2

next, flatten out your bread dough into a large thin rectangle. you might want to put it in the fridge at this stage. i didnt but that might be where it went wrong, i dont know.

  • Step 3

now to make the filling.in the recipe i used it said to use half a cup of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 and a half table spoons of cinnamon. i didnt use cups, i just kind of did it by eye.mix it all together and keep adding cinnamon till your happy.

  • Step 4

spread the filling over the flattened dough, try not to put too mutch in because it will ooze.

    And roll...

  • Step 5

Try and cut into strips.this is where it went wrong for me, when i cut it it oozed all over the place.carefully place them onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper.

  • Step 6

put into oven that you have hopefully pre heated to the temperature your bread needs. they take about 25-35 mins. just keep checking on them, when theyre not too doughy inside take them out.

  • How to bake a cinnamon roll. Yummy Cinnamon Rolls - Step 7
    Step 7

and now EAT THEM!! you could ice them, but i find they dont really need it.
    i hope you enjoy!! :)

i understand why cutting it would be hard...if you use a knife it will fall apart pretty much everytime. what you do is grab a piece of normal thread put your rolled dough on top and wrap it around where you would want to cut and pull. itll slice them perfectly every time just keep moving your thread down the line and keep slicing itll look alot better next time you try it.
