For this apron, I cut the fabric freehand, then hemmed all the edges.
Next I attached ties for the waist tie, and for the neck loop.
I gave this to my mother (the model here) for her birthday.

So amazing! I saw the most beautiful ties at the thrift store yesterday but I passed them up. Isn't it strange that sometimes you can struggle with yourself over spending 10 cents? Go figure.
