The coaster I previously sewed up sucked at absorbency, so I made a thicker one from shirt tags, old jeans and old tee shirts. I got to play with all my machines stitches, some of them were kinda cool to watch.

I think I am going to take the jeans stuff off and use regular fabric. My boyfriend says it looks funny, I told him when we get our own place it can be a mini hot pad. heh
