  • Step 1

Dip all the cake pops into the bright blue coating. Repeat again when dry if required.

  • Step 2

For nine of the boxes, dip the top quarter again to create a lid effect.

  • Step 3

Roll out the white flower paste thinly and cut into narrow strips. On the nine boxes with lids, lay the strips over the top of the box and attach using royal icing in a small parchment piping bag with a no. 1.5 piping nozzle.

  • Step 4

Create nine white flower paste bows with tails. Attach to each cross.

  • Step 5

For the remaining three pops, dip the very top surface of the pop into white candy coating. Take care not to allow drips to run down the edges (use a cocktail stick to catch them).

  • Step 6

Using light beige flower paste, create a circular clasp to hold the edible diamond and glue into place.

  • Step 7

Using a no. 2 sable paintbrush, paint the beige paste with a paint formed from gold lustre dust and isopropyl or any clear alcohol.

    luxurious lustre…
For a very luxurious bow, lustre the white flower paste with ice-white edible powder.
