You will need:
Some pretty origami paper or patterned paper, glue,scissors, a colour printer, the internet or cut out magazine pictures, gold or silver card and some cheap paper notebooks.( I bought mine from woolworths which is a shame but you could probably find some simalar ones any where else. From Woolies they were like 29p for 3 :( -
Cut the patterned paper to size so it fits nicely on the cover of the notebook. Glue it down. Fold the edges inside and glue them to the inside cover. This will help prevent the paper from peeling off.

You will need to find some cute images. I used hello kitty images from the internet, but you can use any other image from a magazine or whatever. The image will need to be small and fit nicely on the front cover.Glue the image onto some gold card or silver card. Cut the gold card so it leaves a nice frame around the picture.

Glue the framed picture onto the front of the card. You can add any other details you want like cute stickers or trims of ribbon. Scribble away inside your new notebook!
