get your clay and roll 2 equal balls.
Flatten out the ball. -
cut out triangular mouth shapes, with your x-acto knife.
make tiny little balls for the eyes. -
bake em, and paint if you need to.
when they are dry/cooled down.
get some mod podge and place the studs on the back.
let them dry, and they should be ready to wear;

These are super cute. I think PVA would be a better glue to use, though. It's stronger and there's less chance to lose an earring. About $2.50 for 2 oz at your local craft store.
