We didn't use a pattern to be honest. We just knew what we wanted the end result to be..but I would suggest using a corset pattern for the bodice and maybe a wedding dress pattern for the bottom part. I'll try to get a pattern out of my mom lol
Aw thanks for comments you guys ^_^ you rock! I did have a petticoat beneath my dress Riley, was made of black netting (although you could only see it when I walked) and the bottom part was nearly double that length before we started, you kinda pull the fabric into lil pocket shaped things...I don't really know how to explain it, we just kept gathering until we got the effect we wanted
Did you have a peticoat underneath?? It's super cute(and looks terrific on you!) How do you make the skirt part look like that? Like the bottom part...It looks like you just sew a few stitches in random places...
