A friend of mine made a scarf like this for herself, hers was grey, very cute too!
I didn't want to make completely the same so I used other fabric and a different color. The minute I saw it I just had to make one for myself too! The reason it took me 4 hours is because I hand-stitched it... :) my sewingmachine and I don't get along at the moment. I think it turned out pretty great!
