From Sweater to Hat

  • Completed Project: From Sweater to Hat Picture #1

Turn an old sweater in to a cosy new hat.

I had a sweater that was too small, I got it at thrift store and I so loved the color that i made it into a hat

  1. Step 1

    Cut a half circle out of sweater.

  2. Step 2

    Sew it, leaving the bottom open (of course).


  3. Step 3

    Cut the sleeve into 3 thin strips and braid them.

  4. Step 4

    Stitched to the top of hat. See Easy :) ;D

awesome! i definatley want to try this one =) i was looking for a hat that i could make with no knitting involved and i found one! yay! thank you! now i just have to steal a jumper from one of my family...
