These were the clotingitems I've started with.

first I cut of the arms.
Than put it on and make it tight to your body.

Sew this and cut the extra fabric of.

put it on again and take some more out of the sides if you have to. by example, I took some more below the armpits.

Now put it on again and make a line with pins to make the armhole wider. I jused a top onder it an took that as a mall.

cut this of and lay the cut of part on the other, non cut armhole. Use it as a mal. Now cut that to.

now put it on again and start taking fabric again onder the armpit.

allso make a coup seam from under your armpit to your brest.

After this my vest was perfectly fitted.

pin the armpits 1 cm inside like the picture and sew it.

Than I took one of the lapels (collar) on the inside of. I looked realy close how it was put on.

What I took of I used as a patern to cut out of the old-lady colbert.
I sewed it on like I rememberd.

than I cut out a strip from 20 cm. and try'd to make is as long as posible. Just sew parts together to make that long.

than I folded it and sew it on to the dress.

And this is the resalt!

look how nice the vest fits me. Ohw I allso cut of the pockits on the inside and sewed the opening by hand closed.

I allso made little loops for the belt.

It's pretty short but that way my boyfriend likes it ;P
