  1. Step 1

    Start off by choosing a coloured felt. Im using green because im making a christmas tree.

  2. Step 2

    Then cut out the shape twice using felt. I did two green trees and two rectangles for the trunk.


  3. Step 3

    Then get a needle and some embroidery thread and stitch a blanket stitch round the edges, leaving a gap.
    Stuff some stuffing or some cotton wool or even scraps of fabric inside the tree and then carry on sewing.

    It should now look like this

    Then you can add some decorations for example bells that you can get from most craft shops.

    Sequins....

    Buttons....

    Or beads

    Then add some string, embroidery thread or I used gardening twine.
