I made this as a gift for a friend's 18th birthday. It's about 30cm big, 5cm tall, and lined with black velvet. There's a second box underneath the velvet to make it more sturdy.
If I'd had more time I would've lined the cover too, or decorated it a bit.

In the second picture it's filled with selfmade chocolates.
