Organize your eye shadows / make a customized eye shadow palette !

This project is great if you have eye shadows laying around, or random small eye shadows in small cases that you want all together in one container. Or if maybe the lid came off and your eye shadows are getting scraped and coming apart. Or maybe you just like the way this looks, or want a thin portable container for your eye shadows. Whatever the reason this project is simple, easy so enjoy (=

If you have any suggestions feel free to comment.

OH. Also, you can take out the plastic part where you put the CD in so there can be more room for your eye shadows or maybe even some small make up brushes. Whichever you prefer.

You Will Need

Project Cost
Almost Nothing

  1. Step 1 1

First get an old CD case that you no longer use. It can't be one of those really thin ones, because then when you put your eye shadows in it, it won't be able to close.

  2. Step 2 2

Next get the eye shadows that you want to use. I'm using these victoria secret ones that i have because I'm careless and lost the top to it, so whenever i take it somewhere while traveling it gets all scratched up.

  3. Step 3 3

I'm also going to use these. They're from all different eye shadows that have broken and what not. I don't like to waste anything, so I'm going to add these to the CD as well.

  4. Step 4 4

If you have any other ideas then go for it, for me though, a pair of old tweezers works good for me to take out the eye shadows. I bent the tweezers a bit open so it's easier to take them out.

  5. Step 5 5

Get in between the opening of the eye shadow and lift it out. Some are difficult but it hasn't been a problem for me. Just be careful not to scrape the eye shadow. If i accidentally do this, I just push down on the eye shadow to compact it again.

  6. Step 6 6

Using super glue, glue the eye shadows in however order you please inside the CD case.

  7. Step 7 7

    This is how mine looks.

  8. Step 8 8

This step is optional, but if you have a blank blank Cd ( I have nooo idea what its called its usually on top of blank CD's, its plastic) you can use it to put on top of the eye shadows, kinda as a protector....

  9. Step 9 9

    Like this...

  10. Step 10 10

And there you go that's it !
