I feel so inspired!!!

I've just been on a trip to listen to poets read their poetry (some of which I am studying) and I feel so inspired. I write my own poetry but now my pen bleeds with the words I need to write!

Has anyone else done anything like that before?

I write poetry all the time, and I keep them even if they are horrible. Sometimes I have my fiance write music to some of them. It's is a great form of therapy and getting your thoughts out of your head.

I used to write a lot of poems when I was younger. Seems to get more difficult with age. But a lot of my later works were inspired after reading certain passages from The Bible oddly enough.

i cant write poetry for my life. but i love reading a line from a poem, or a book, etc and it sticking with you and keeps you thinking about it Happy
