Come behind the scenes at We're Going to Make it for a #CraftRoomTour and see Haley's craft space.

I love that there is a lot of natural light that comes in through my windows and that I can open my windows and feel the fresh air blowing on me as I work.

Tell us about your space

My craft space is basically a desk that is in my room. My desk is where I write all of my blog posts and edit all my images. I also clear it off and cover it with some newspaper to get down and dirty with my DIY's.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I like to display past DIY's I have done around me so I stay inspired to create more. I also love to be surrounded by plants. I have this cactus piñata I made years ago that sits on my desk right next to all my real cactus.

How do you keep organized?

To be honest, I'm not the best at staying organized. I try to put away my supplies after I use them but this doesn't always happen!

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Again, not my strong point. I have this huge chest that I've been stowing away all my supplies until I move to my next apartment. I think having a big shelf or set of drawers would be a great way to hide/declutter supplies, but for now I've got to work with what I got!

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I love this DIY neon pineapple light up sign that I made. It has kind of turned into a display board as it sits on my desk. I like to hang up motivational sayings and images.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have a couple of notebooks and lists going that help me organize my ideas. On my phone I have a huge list of blog ideas just kept in my notes so I can easily access it on my phone or my computer. Sometimes I like a physical list too so I have a notebook dedicated to blog ideas as well.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Instagram, Pinterest, my favorite shops. I think seeing other creatives helps me be creative so scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest always sparks ideas for me. If I'm in a real rut then I like to go shopping for ideas and see if there is anything I could easily replicate for cheaper at home.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I would want a huge studio, with lots and lots of natural light, and lastly a a big work desk that I can easily spread out all over. A girl can dream!
