Cook a matcha cheesecake with Moment Cafe in Prague, Croatia.

How did you get started?

I actually didn't start the cafe. I just took over after the previous owners decided to "let it go". But we started more that 2 years ago.

Where are you located?

We're in Prague 2, in the neighborhood called Vinohrady, bordered with famous Zizkov neighborhood. We're close to subway Jiriho s Podebrad. It's nice neighborhood with lots of cafes and bars, parks and we're close to the center of Prague.

What are your specialities?

Hmmm, I think the cakes hahahah But people love our burgers and bagels as well. We have famous Robi burgers. Robi is kinda fake meat made in Czech, so I guess you can't really get it out of the country. And people love our seitan and "cheese" bagel. Ohh, and the wraps with "egg" spread and sandwiches made out of homemade bread, homemade soyannaize, tempeh and salad .

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

Hummus!!

What's on the stereo?

Sometimes hard core, punk, sometimes 50's jazz

Where else should we visit in your area?

All kinds of alternative bars and cafes around.

Do you host any special events?

We have acoustic shows, lectures, movie screenings...
We use our space not only for making/serving food, but we use it for sharing/spreading information about animal rights, human right etc. You can find leaflets, t-shirts, money boxes (for animal shelters, refugees and homeless)...

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

Do you have a favorite cafe, restaurant or bar in your town that we should feature? Send us a message!
