Have you always been creative and artistic?

Since I was little I did nothing but draw. So I took up fine arts and slowly developed my style. Before I decided that I wanted to be a full time artist I started working as a fashion stylist mainly doing runway shows.
Which was great because I got to make accessories, props, looks , etc etc. It satisfied my hunger for creativity and helped me to develop the stylized characters that I love to do .

How would you describe the style of your work?

Pop with a dash of Dadaism: a collage of popular and iconic objects bringing a message of hope. I like playing with the idea of contradiction whenever I make something, for example I like to use harsh images and mix really soft and pastel colors. The main goal is to produce beautiful images out of depressing topics or personal experiences.

What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?

My favorite tool would be technical drawing pens, you can give me one and I can draw for hours .

A.)Pencil (I really don’t care what brand or type because I only use it for outlines.)
Technical drawing pens (0.2, 0.6,0.8)
Eraser ( a good quality hi polymer type and cute pastel sea shell type that I get at a novelty store.)
D.) Really stupid looking ball pens that are really not good but are so cute and fits my aesthetics.

Who is your favorite superhero?

Characters from sailor moon and yuyu hakusho

If you could have one super power what would it be?

The power to manipulate into any liquid substance.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Mainly from dreams, moods, and personal experiences. I’m particularly obsessed with women from different periods (from 1930’s-1960’s) horror films, heavy drama films, I’m obsessed with people’s history and their feelings.

Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?

Séraphine Louis, Martin Margiela, Jackson Pollock, Hilma af Klint, Andy Warhol, Liubov Popova, Albert Irvin, Salvador Dali,
