We head behind the scenes at Molliepop and tour Mollie's craft nook in Savannah, TN.

My favorite thing about the space is that there's lots and lots of natural night.

Tell us about your space

I joke around and call this my office even though it's really just a corner in my living room. At a previous house I had an actual craft room but it was SO dark. My husband would tease me because even though I had an entire room for crafting I would drag all my supplies out to the living room (big windows) and work there. Thankfully, this craft "room" has plenty of natural light and I'm able to work where I keep all my supplies. While it's kind of annoying to have it all out in the open it also makes me proud when visitors come and right away notice my little crafting nook. Kids especially love it.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I love me some mood boards. I pin up and pull stuff down constantly so to me they serve as visual reminders of things I've experienced or thought about lately. I also love displaying quirky necklaces from my great aunt on the back of my sewing chair.

How do you keep organized?

Ha, that's hilarious. I don't.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

While I am the last person you want to ask for organizing tips I do occasionally like to "arrange" things so they are more appealing visually. Arranging by color is usually my go-to choice.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

My great grandmother's vintage Singer sewing machine! The drawers are still full of all her old sewing things, including an old pill bottle belonging to my great grand father which she used to hold safety pins. I was little when she passed but I have such fond memories of gathering with family at her house over the summer. Her sewing machine came to me as an unexpected gift but it's a precious addition to my craft room that I plan on keeping forever.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

Mood boards are a good way to start. If it's something I just thought of I might doodle on the white board, in a journal, or on my phone if I'm out and about.

Where do you look for inspiration?

I recently discovered Cut Out and Keep and I have to say, the amount of inspiration on here is crazy! I also follow a lot of lifestyle/fashion bloggers and the creativity there is endless. (Delightfully Tacky, Scathingly Brilliant, and Keiko Lynn are a few of my long time faves.)

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

1). Paint the walls...something punchy and fun! I loathe the color tan.
2). Paint just the drawers on the sewing cabinet. Maybe add new knobs?
3). Move into a room with a door on it. ;)
