Be green and recycle
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

We spoke about this topic on the board some time last year and I thought it was about time I did it!
Now that I have started, I have come up with so many uses for them!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Take your empty tub of cat litter and clean that thing out.
Take off the label if possible.
Now, decide what you want to make and get cutting. Be very careful, as the plastic cuts VERY easily with a sharp knife, so concentrate!
I made a tub for newspapers to recycle so I cut off the whole top, which was just above the line where the label was.
Then I ductaped around the edge, to make it less dangerous.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

For my second tub, I wanted something to shove under the sink with all my kitchen cleaning crap. So I left the handle on and just carefully cut around the spout and the front.
I plan to make one of these for the bathroom next, so handy!

As you see Tara the kitty wanted to see what all the fuss was about her litter boxes! ha

You could also make plant pots, if you made holes in the bottom, yarn storage.
You could decorate the outside too, so many ideas :D

    Have fun.
